Kelly and Sheetal Kharbanda recently opened Heyford Smiles Dental Clinic, a new dentist helping to serve the growing community at Heyford Park, as well as those living in the surrounding area.
Kelly, a dental nurse by background and Sheetal, a dentist for over 15 years, always had ambitions to open their own practice, as Sheetal explains:
“We were introduced to the area by Kelly’s mum who has lived on Camp Road since 2016. She mentioned that there were plans to create a new community at Heyford Park and they looked wonderful and very different to other new build developments that we had seen.
“From our very first meeting with Dorchester Living we really got the sense that they were trying to create a community and we could tell they wanted to create a long-lasting legacy with an emphasis on family life.
“This was in keeping with our vision for the practice, as we also wanted to become part of a local community and care for its families. Ideally, we wanted a place where we could provide affordable dental care for locals and grow alongside the community.
“Heyford Park is situated in such an ideal location, it’s a beautiful quiet village surrounded by several small villages too with so many gorgeous fields and walks. It’s also within easy reach of larger towns such as Bicester, Oxford and Banbury so it has something for everyone. With a local school and several community sports teams and groups, it’s the perfect place to raise a family and we can tell how happy people are living here.”
Located on Camp Road in the heart of Heyford Park’s Village Centre, Heyford Smiles has been in high-demand since it opened.
“We realised quickly that the residents were really excited at the prospect of a new business opening in Heyford Park. We actually received over 120 enquiries before we opened and this meant that we had some patients already booked in when we officially opened our doors.
“The practice has now been open for three months and we have been delighted with our start. We have had over 450 patients register, but more importantly we have had great feedback and we have thoroughly enjoyed treating some delightful patients.”
