Looking for a new home in the Bicester area?

Oxfordshire Locals Upsize to Heyford Park

We love to hear the reasons why our purchasers choose to make their move to Heyford Park and how they are settling in to their new home and their new community after they have moved in. If you are looking for a new home in the Bicester area and want to know if Heyford Park might be right for you, maybe Joanne and Martin’s reasons for moving will help you to decide.

Joanne and Martin Bungay recently moved to Heyford Park near Bicester with their two children, after many years living and working in Oxford.

They were prompted to look for a new home after Joanne fell pregnant for a second time, and the family realised they needed to move somewhere new that would better suit their needs. Joanne explains:

"We’d been living in Cowley in Oxford in a three-bedroom house, but as our family grew we wanted to find somewhere new that had a sense of community and would provide us with a different lifestyle."

With Joanne and Martin still working in Oxford, the family started looking in Bicester, where Joanne’s parents live. They knew that they wanted a new-build home and visited a few different places before they discovered Heyford Park, a new community approximately ten minutes’ drive from Bicester.

“We fell in love with Heyford Park before we’d even seen our home, the feeling was completely different to the other new developments we had visited. We loved the different styles of the homes and the sense of space – they weren’t built closely to one another like some places.”

The family upsized into a four-bedroom home, granting them the space to grow and put down roots for many years to come. Discussing their house, Joanne says:

“Our new home has the highest specification that we’ve ever seen. It was ready to move into and we were just so impressed, it was so much better quality compared to other homes we’d seen.”

The family is now settling into their new life, enjoying all that the development has to offer.

“We love walking around the village and across the green, whilst Stoke Woods is nearby as well as the canal. Our commute into Oxford is straightforward and takes around 30 minutes. We love it here!”

We are always looking for purchasers to do a case study for Dorchester Living and Heyford Park, so please get in touch with us if you want to get involved and share your experiences.
