Australian expat Sherry Bingham had been living in the UK for more than 20 years before deciding the time was right to buy her own home.
Sherry, who runs her own business, wanted to find a new home that would be close to her work, as she explains:
“I’d spent many years working in different places, but I felt the time was right to settle down with the security of my own home. I was looking for something newly built, so that I wouldn’t have to deal with any issues an older house might have – some of the houses in England are far older than Australia!
“I wanted somewhere with a few spare rooms for visitors, somewhere that would be close to my work, with a garden and a garage. After searching online, I found Heyford Park and went to visit.”
Sherry was attracted to the sense of local community at Heyford Park, as well as the range of amenities available to residents.
“I love everything about my new home, the attention to detail is obvious and the service I received after moving in has been brilliant. There’s a sense of community here with local amenities like Baton restaurant, which serves excellent food in a lovely atmosphere, and a café which has amazing cakes and coffee. The other residents I’ve met have been really lovely and welcoming, and you feel safe living here.”
